Autism and Special Needs

Autism and Special Needs Travel Experts

Traveling with an Autistic or special needs child can be very rewarding; however, careful planning and preparation are needed to ensure a smooth vacation. While it is not possible to know how one will react to a given situation, the following advice can help make traveling with an Autistic or special needs child more enjoyable.

Taking a child with Autism or any other special needs to a theme park can be an intimidating experience. The combination of the crowds, smells, sounds, and motion of rides puts a lot of strain on a child. Not to mention the lines. Most major theme parks offer some form of accommodations to children with Autism and other special needs. We advise our clients go to guest services and explain that there is a child with Autism or other special needs within the party and ask what accommodations are offered.
